Creede has an abundance of activities to keep kids entertained and engaged. One highlight is the Creede Repertory Theatre, offering family-friendly performances throughout the summer months. From lively musicals to captivating dramas, children can immerse themselves in the magic of live theater, fostering their imagination and love for the arts.

For outdoor enthusiasts, Creede boasts numerous opportunities for exploration and adventure. Families can embark on scenic hikes along the Bachelor Loop Trail, where they can discover abandoned mines and breathtaking vistas. Additionally, the Rio Grande River offers thrilling whitewater rafting excursions suitable for older children, providing a great way to experience the region's natural beauty. Horseback riding is available at two local guest ranches, Freemons and Cottonwood Cove.

For a dose of history and culture, kids can visit the Creede Underground Mining Museum, where they learn about the town's rich mining heritage and the colorful characters who once called it home. Interactive exhibits and guided tours offer a fascinating glimpse into the past, allowing children to connect with the area's history in a meaningful way.
