Creede Ladies Aid Society

Established in 1899, the Ladies Aid Society is the oldest community service organization in Creede. Through the hearts and hands of our volunteers, we carry on the tradition handed to us to reach out to our neighbors when hardships arise.

The Mission of Ladies Aid is to reach out to our neighbors when hardships arise.

Some of the ways we offer aid include:

  • Food or nutritional supplements

  • Food Bank staples

  • Clothing

  • Help with utility or medical expenses

  • Senior Lunches

  • Bereavement receptions in accordance with the family’s request

  • Financial support of our community facilities and organizations

  • Personal hygiene bags or distribution to the Valley’s migrant workers

  • Prayer pillow

  • Baby Blankets

  • Correspondence and visits

  • Christmas cookie delivery to homebound folks

  • Annual Community Thanksgiving Dinner

  • Participation with other organizations
